what a happy memory!
last night, i had a terrible bout of insomnia. i was up until about 5, and every time i moved, poor matt woke up too. only the funny thing about him is, every time he wakes up, he thinks no time has passed! he thinks he's mid-conversation! so at around 2:30 he says to me "HELLO MAPACHE!!" very over-loud like that. then at 3 it was "I LOOOOOOOOOVE YOU JENNY GOODMAN!" anyway, so around 3:30 i exiled myself to the couch (taking fyodor with me) where we slept under a really thin blanket. but it was SUPER COLD last night, so i got really cold, and covered myself up with couch cushions (we didn't pack many blankets.) finally at around 4:30 i thought to myself "what am i doing out here?" and went to bed, causing matt to proclaim his undying love once more. it was a very cute beginning to valentine's day. :-)
I'll never forget that day...and I'm sure that neither of you two will either...it was majical!
I am very happy to hear that at least Matt didn't shout out, "I am an undertaker!". Trust me. Much creepier than "I love you Jenny Goodman". Happy Valentine's Day guys!
so many happy memories of that wonderful day!!! Keep your love going strong by the little things you two do everyday!!!
"i am an undertaker"??? oh no!!!!! please tell!!! :-)
Several years ago on a family vacation to Tahoe (Matt was probably about 13 or 14) Nancy, Megan, Matt and I were all sleeping in the loft/living room area of the very small living room. Matt talked in his sleep quite a bit but one night just yelled out, "I AM AN UNDERTAKER". Creepy. There was some speculation that perhaps he wasn't really asleep but just trying to live up to his rep of bizarre sleep talking but this allegation was never proven. Anyway, it sounds like his sleep conversation has definitely improved over the years!
oh gosh!!! :-D well, the sweet things he says are his awake-talking when he thinks he never was asleep. his *sleep* talking, now that's another story!!!once he told me that my backpack was "in the armchair of the matador." another time he told me he was holding my sandwich on his head because he was wading. and one time, he just said "clunk............plunk..............DING!!!!!!!!!" :-)
One time Bart told me that what I was telling him wasn't a good idea because we shouldn't give confetti canons to babies. HUH?
Jenny,I have to agree that your wedding was really beautiful, one of the most beautiful wedding's I've ever been to...what made it so beautiful was how much love there was. Happy Valentine's Day! Laura (Uva:-)
awwwww....! thanks! i'm so glad you came. that meant a lot!!!! :-) como has estado????
Jenny forgot to say that a few minutes after I told her that her missing backpack was in the armrest of the matador, she asked why I wouldn't be more helpful in her intensely panicked search. I said in reply: "I'd like to, but all the [french accent] ice cremes [end french accent] I've worked with have been smaller and much less poetic." !
How interesting, brother.
These little antecdotes remind me of a great story from our honeymoon. We were asleep in our cabin on the cruise and all of a sudden Brian out his arms around me extra tight and proclaimed with great passion: I'll carry you on my BACK if I have to!What true love!
That last comment from me should read PUT his arms around me not out his arms around me. Stupid blackberry!
i wonder where he was carrying you to!!!! :-) so cute.
