so strange! so true!

strange but true, the trivia game that swept the nation, is over!

however, i have 1 prize left over, unaccounted for! so here is a challenge: whoever can tell the most strange fact will win the prize!

but believe me you, it's gotta be good! on-level with "when attacked, the sea cucumber shoots out its own intestines, so that the predator gets tangled up. it later regrows new ones." okay... go!

millipedes don't actually have 1,000 legs.

DEET (the chemical that prevents mosquitoes, ticks and other biting insects from recognizing your skin as somehting they can bite) will chemically bind with and melt down any plastic substances? But, of course, it won't do anything like that to your skin.

Many watch faces have been ruined...

There's a "Did you know" that should go before the acronym "DEET"

ooooooh, the DEET one is a good one... :)

Everything is related by one dot, one pixel. Imagine that you take a picture of anything at all with your eyes. Now take that picture and hold it up, looking at it from the side. You will only see a thin line. Then, if you imagine that you could, take that same line and look at it from the end. You will see a solitary dot. You're a dot, I'm a dot. Strange, but true!

in other words, if you take something 3D and turn it into something 2D and then turn that into something 1D you will see a dot?
now if you could do that backwards and turn yourself into something 4D, that would be truly strange!! :-)
